Q. What are the ages of the campers at Laurus Summer Camp?

A. Campers aged 3-15 are welcome to enjoy the LSC summer experience. Campers older than 12 can also inquire about our CIT Leadership program. Campers will also be grouped by age.

Q. What are the dates that the camp will be running?

A. The camp will span 9 weeks, starting the end of June up until end of August, 2017. We are open on Canada day (July 1st), & St-Jean Baptiste (June 24th).

Q. My child has an allergy, will that be a problem at camp?

A. LSC is a peanut free/nut free camp. Any allergies a child may have must be disclosed on the registration form prior to camp to ensure that we are aware who has allergies and inform our staff.

Q. What are the hours of Laurus Summer Camp?

A. Regular camp hours are from 8:30am-4:00pm. We do offer complimentary early drop off is from 7:45 to 8:30am. Regular drop off runs from 8:30-9:00am.
Pick up is from 3:30pm-4:00pm. Extended camp is offered to campers and runs from 4:00-5:30pm at an additional cost of $10/day.

Q. What happens if my child is sick or not at camp one day?

A. If your child is sick or will not be at camp one day, please inform us as early as possible. On the day of, it is best that you call and speak with a Team member or leave a message. We will be contacting families when campers do not show up unless they have notified us.

Q. Am I able to cancel my registration once it is complete?

A. For cancellation prior to May 1, 2017 a fee of $25 per week cancelled will be charged. For cancellation after May 1, 2017 a fee of $75 per week cancelled will be charged. Changes to your chosen weeks can be done at any time, subject to availability, at no cost.

Q. I would like my child to be grouped with a friend or family member, is this possible?

A. If you would like to have friends or family members grouped together please indicate your request on the online registration form. Every additional family member registered will receive a discount of 10% off their registration fee.

Q. What are my payment options?

A. Cash, cheque, Paypal, and credit card are our accepted payment methods. For pre-registration pricing, full payment is required. For early and regular registration, there is a $50 deposit per week required in order to guarantee your child’s spot at camp.

Q. Will I have to provide a lunch each day?

A. Laurus Summer Camp offers a FULL (Monday-Friday) optional catered lunch program, featuring Sushi Shop Sushi, Steamed Dumplings, Sandwiches and many other amazing options! These lunches will be both nutritious and energizing for the children, and cost $10/day. Families opting out of the camp lunches will have to provide their own lunch for those days.
